Getting to Ireland

There are four international airports in Ireland,Dublin Airportin the east of the country,Shannon AirportandIreland West Airportat Knock in the west of the country and Cork Airport in the south. Dublin Airport is the largest airport and has the most routes. Dublin Airport has connections to the US, Canada, Middle East, the UK and Europe. Shannon, near the Limerick City , also has flights to the many of the same countries as Dublin Airport. Cork Airport offers routes to most major UK cities and a wide variety of European cities.

Ireland West Airport at Knock has daily flights to major UK cities, along with a variety of chartered flights to destinations in Europe.

There are 4 other regional airports throughout Ireland operating domestic and UK services include Donegal, Kerry, Sligo and Waterford.

A short distance over the border in Northern Ireland there are 2 airports in Belfast (City Airport and International Airport) and also the City of Derry Airport.

By Train

Travelling from Dublin to Belfast by train is possible on the Enterprise service which is in a cooperation betweenIrish RailandNorthern Ireland Railways.

By Bus
